OVERVIEW:
Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) are complex and challenging peripheral vascular conditions that affecting large segments of the global adult population. Although not usually as immediately life-threatening as a stroke or heart attack, their progressive nature can have serious long-term implications for affected individuals, who may develop debilitating secondary conditions that can be costly to treat and, in some cases, become life-threatening.
